夏立忠，男，博士，正高級工程師，歷任常熟生態(tài)實驗站辦公室主任（1996~2004年）、秭歸實驗站常務(wù)副站長和站長（2004~2013年），曾參加國家“八七”科技扶貧工作。長期從事水土流失與面源污染防治、農(nóng)田生態(tài)系統(tǒng)養(yǎng)分循環(huán)的研究和區(qū)域農(nóng)業(yè)生態(tài)環(huán)境監(jiān)測。主持或作為技術(shù)骨干參加完成來自國家科技攻關(guān)項目、國家基金委自然基金面上項目、國務(wù)院三峽工程建設(shè)委員會三峽工程生態(tài)環(huán)境監(jiān)測系統(tǒng)監(jiān)測項目和研究專項、中國科學院重大項目、中國科學院知識創(chuàng)新項目、中國科學院西部行動計劃創(chuàng)新項目等各類項目近30項。立足于三峽庫首區(qū)域山地立體利用與水土流失、面源污染治理，構(gòu)建了消落區(qū)的植被過濾帶與清潔生產(chǎn)技術(shù)相結(jié)合的生態(tài)保護模式，柑桔產(chǎn)業(yè)帶的植物籬技術(shù)與水肥一體化技術(shù)相配套的高效循環(huán)農(nóng)業(yè)模式，傳統(tǒng)農(nóng)業(yè)坡耕地的保護性耕作加植物籬技術(shù)的生態(tài)保護模式。曾在英國女王大學從事訪問研究。發(fā)表各類學術(shù)論文53篇，其中SCI收錄15篇，EI收錄2篇，中文核心期刊論文33篇。參加已出版發(fā)行3部專著的編寫。申請發(fā)明專利3項，獲得專利授權(quán)1項。
